One of Mermaid Beach’s newest additions, Poké Poké have set out to become known as the specialists when it comes to Poké bowls, and boy do they deliver. The fish is fresh, the veggies are poppin’ and the house made sauce complimenting each bowl is to die for. Make sure you try out the Tuna Me On or the Fresh Off The Boat while you’re there.

2. The Sandbar
Surfers Paradise’s own modern Australian restaurant, The Sandbar, serve up a stunning beach front view to go with their delicious food and of course, Poké bowls. The iconic Surfers Paradise restaurant offers three great options of Poké including the Kauai (tuna marinated in ponzu), Oahu (snapper marinated in amarilo pepper), and the Maui (kingfish marinated in passionfruit) and for those of you not wanting rice with your bowl, you have the option to substitute with Quinoa, if you can pronounce it properly.

3. The Kitchen at the Collective
The tuna Poké bowls available at the Kitchen at the Collective are certainly what you would call a filling meal. The serving of delicious sashimi grade tuna you’re presented with is definitely more than worth the price, and though it is technically classed as a medium plate, some people have been rumoured to eat this Poké bowl as a shared meal – How’s that for value?
